Jetty Inspections with Subsequent Repairs at Freeport's Port Site

In years 2003, 2010 through 2017, we have been helping PT Kuala Pelabuhan Indonesia, the operator of Freeport's port in Papua, carry out jetty corrosion monitoring and subsequent repairs for the concentrate and coal jetties.  In repairing the jetties, we looked for opportunities to avoid disturbing operational activities.  We repaired the jetties while not in use, or by applying methods that can safely continue without disrupting the routine.  The use of fiber reinforced polymer has been successful in strengthening the old jetties with minimal disturbance.
