IndoMet Coal Project at Muara Tuhup, Central Kalimantan

Our client, PT Thiess Contractors Indonesia, was the EPC contractor tasked by BHP Billiton to build the Indomet Coal Stockpile and Handling Facility at Muara Tuhup, Central Kalimantan.  Our self-propelled crane barge and manpower sailed to the heart of Central Kalimantan, and assisted in carrying out piling in the river and installation of jetty structures.   The owner, BHP Billiton, enforced a very high standard in health, safety and environment.  We are proud to have earned a recognition for our good safety performance in the project.
